Our favorite project tends to be the one we're working on now. As of the spring of 2009, that would be historic restorations and other work we have done to rebuild the Texas Gulf Coast after last year's devastating hurricane. Here are a few others of our favorites:

  • Peter (Woody) Kern of Denton, Texas, CEO of PCK Management. Woody has been an owner of the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League and  the Durham Bulls, a minor league baseball franchise.
  • Joe M. Rodgers, the Alabama-born developer who served as ambassador to France during the Reagan Administration.
  • Jim Medlock, a Huntsville, Ala., native who founded the computer firm Intergraph Corp.
  • J.D. Hinkle, a former West Virginia state senator and developer.
